It's now the second day and we are slowly (very) becoming accustomed to the time change. Last night was rough because of this change.... i was really struggling. Hit the bed at about 9:30 and was asleep within 2 minutes.
We are surprised about the climate here... it's not as warm here as we thought, but still very pleasant. Later when we leave California towards Nevada/Arizona i'm sure we will miss this temperature.
Yesterday was also our first day at the beach, which was not as nice as we expected. The bugs got us! Lots of them.... not sure what they were. But, the kids were in the water, although it was about "1 inch" cold!
So today we are off to an inland lake... not sure of the name. Will send some pics later....
