Well, as we always do, this evening we went to the (in) famous Chuck E Cheeses. We seem to do this almost every trip to the US, but i'm not really sure why! The pizza is not really very good, and they don't even have any beer!
But, as is probably the case for most parents, there is something very comforting about seeing your kids just absolutely have the time of their life! They run around, trying every machine and are absolutely not phased by failure. They immediately brush it off and move on to the next machine, with full confidence that they will hit the ticket jackpot on that one. A sure sign of this confidence was Adriana's statement, as we walked into the place, that she was going to get enough tickets to win the huge Barbie house, at only 4000 tickets.
In the end the kids won a grand total of 126 tickets (for some reason the guy helping us had to use a calculator to add the two sums of tickets we had 125 + 1=126).
And, Adriana was as happy as if she had won the Barbie house.
