Today we visited hoover dam. Another recommendation, as this is really a demonstration of what a team and dedication can do. While there is so much talk these days of americas greatness, and pride, this actually reminds of times when accomplishments actually proved it. Now, not to get too political about this, just go and see it and you will also be impressed as to what the USA can accomplish. This is a true source of American pride, and one of the reasons that the USA built its world leadership position in the 20th century.
Only caveat in the whole thing..... $66 entrance fee for about 1/2 hour tour. But, still worth it.
