Fuel usage of our rental car

We are now traveling from LA to Palm Springs, as i'm writing this ... Did I already mention that mobile flatrate is great?
Anyway, we just filled up with fuel (which was an experience of its own) and i calculated our fuel usage of our Plymouth Town and Country: 12.4 L/100 Km. It's actually a very nice car. Most of my colleagues would criticize it's steering, brakes, handling, etc. But it has lots of room, lots of storage, good AC and actually drives ok. But, this type of fuel usage is a killer. Our Galaxy, (which seats as many as this car and is much faster!) uses an average of 7 L/100 km. Almost half! Now it is a diesel, but it is every bit as quiet and much more responsive. So, while this car is nice, as gas prices go up, they will have to think of something to do about the usage.
Signing off from the road .....

My recruiting NCO talked me into signing up for this blog tonight. We just got back from Wiesbaden. Our second car was a Plymouth. It was a good car. I just did not know how to take care of it. Gas was cheap, about forty cents a gallon. From the pictures, it looks like you all are enjoying yourselves. Keep it up. Enjoy every moment.
